The pieces are beautiful and the photography is nice, but whoever did the layout for this book did a huge disservice to the whole project.All of the images were shot with a narrow depth of field, leaving much of each piece's detail obscured. This wouldn't be an issue if there were shots included of the pieces being modeled/worn to provide a sense of scale and presentation. This also makes it tough, upon first glance, to visually discern if a piece is a necklace, bracelet, or ring.Less than a handful were photographed whole. Most were spread across two pages with the crease of the book derailing the focal point of the piece. On many, I could not see the chain style, clasp, or piece as a whole.With that said, the book itself is very nice. Excellent print quality, and large glossy pages with great detail. There is a glossary in the back that lists each piece's dimensions, type, and composite; a welcome addition, but shouldn't be a substitute for a modeled shot.Overall, it's nice eye candy, but I wouldn't look to this as a resource.

First few pages were blown up beyond recognition. Subsequest pages were photographed more as abstract art than recognizable pieces of jewelry. Gave me a headache. Worth about $10.00. The last few pages which included tiny photos and descriptions of the objects finally clarified what the objects were. This book is for someone who wants to have a coffee table book to use to stump guests as to what the objects are.
